Our Chimney Services:

We clean and repair; chimneys, gas logs, dryer vents. We replace and install; prefab chimney covers, chimney caps, and gas logs. We also deal with chimney leaks.

Insurance and Service Rates:

The mess involved in chimney cleaning is always a concern. Have no fear! We have comprehensive general liability insurance and workers comp. You will find us to be very reliable and our prices very competitive. We strive to keep our service standards high and prices fair. Meet the Crew

Will

Owner

Hello, I am Will Gilfillan, owner, and operator of Chimney Keepers. I am a member of the North Carolina Chimney Sweep Association and have been in the chimney business for going on 5 years now. I have a wonderful wife, Sarah, and two wonderful kids, William and Kennalee. I am a full time firefighter for the town of Cary and have been with them since 2011.

Sarah

Executive Admin

Sarah is our office manager and handles all the scheduling and finances. She has been with the company a little over a year now. She is married to Will and together they have two beautiful children, William and Kennalee. Sarah has a degree in Early Childhood and Administration but has come to love helping her husband run their own business and enjoying working from home.

Korey

Technician

Korey is our technician who has been with the company going on 3 years. If you need a good laugh Korey is the guy to help! Korey is also a full time firefighter for the town of Durham. He is married to his wife, Cambria, and they have two amazing children, Noah and Gwen.

Passing the Hat:

Owning and operating Chimney Keepers for 27 years has been a very rewarding experience, and we have enjoyed the relationships we have built with our customers. We are now starting a new chapter and are selling the business to one of our Technicians. Though we will miss the many relationships and friendships we have built over the years, Karen and I are looking forward to traveling full time in our Airstream as we explore the nooks and crannies of North America.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Will and Sarah Gilfillan, who will be taking over Chimney Keepers as of March 30, 2020. Rest assured, Will has been well trained (by Carl!) and is very competent, with nearly four years of experience in the gas log/fireplace/ chimney service industry and over ten years as a firefighter. Sarah, the Office Manager/wife is a fast learner, and will do wonders in assisting you with scheduling appointments and answering questions. It was important to us to find a good fit for our customers, and we feel confident that you will find Will and Sarah to be knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
