Gas Log Service and inspection $250

The Gas log service involves a comprehensive inspection and cleaning process that includes checking the unit, damper, gas piping for leaks, venting system, and burner pan as well as cleaning the pilot assembly and glass components. Adjustments for the pilot or burner may also be made, and new sand or embers are added before reassembling the unit. The service fee is $250.00, with variations depending on the specific unit. 

If gas logs are purchased from the service provider, the installation cost is $225 plus any necessary parts, which includes one free return call within the first 60 days.

If the logs are provided by the customer, the installation fee is $475 plus parts, with one free return call for adjustments within the first 30 days. Any additional callback incur a regular service fee of $250.

•       Remove gas logs in the fireplace and cap line, $150 + parts to cap off the gas line if needed/ remove line. Does not include inspection. An inspection is needed for use of wood burning. Level 2 will be needed. 
•       Install remotes on some models if properly equipped. Please ask for more info if interested.

In addition, we can supply you with blowers, remote controls (both on/off or thermostat-controlled if you have a remote-ready set of logs), or most items for your logs. Please note: We are not able to run the gas line from outside into your firebox or house. Google gas piping, and get at least two estimates. Either the gas company or a licensed plumber can do that for you. Once the line is into your firebox, we can install, service, and uninstall gas logs.
