"Drop In II" Spider^™ Dampers

The ultimate replacement for warped, worn out, or defective factory built fireplaces.

For use in most prefab, class A, round terra cotta and stainless steel chimneys.

The new "Drop In II" Spider dampers can be used on:
Class "A" solid pack,
prefab fireplace,
single wall round,
flexible flue liners,
air insulated and any pipe type chimney in size 6-16 Inch in round diameter.

Installation is simple and damper is recessed approximately 6 inches below and inside the top of flue- ideal for restoration projects where an exposed damper is unwanted. The existing or new rain cover can be installed without fear of a freezing or sticking damper.

The "Drop In II" Spider Top Damper's all 316-L stainless steel construction will withstand repeated fires with no problems.

The new "Drop In II" models offers a spring loaded damper that allows unlimited adjustment to open position of the damper.

Spider Top Mount Damper

Damper Kit

You can install one your self with simple hand tools and electric or battery operated drill. Complete instruction are in every box.

Handle bracket attached to side of firebox.
Use 1/4" masonry bit.

Note: These dampers are specifically designed for wood burning fireplace flues and should not be used on fireplaces with gas logs. For regular rectangle or square masonry chimneys check out our LockTop damper page here.

**For proper fit, measure the inside of flue and get damper that matches that number. Pipe can be larger by 1/4". If you have a 13" or 15" flue we have adapters for the damper. We have 11" dampers also,

Example you have a 15" flue. We send you a 14" damper with adapter to fit inside the 15" liner. It's not perfect but will work most of the time.. Adapters are $125.00 ea.

We can make them up to 20" in Diameter...
