Heavy Duty 1/4" Replacement Mesh Panels
We have the full line of mesh
panels to replace your old rusty or warped fireplace screens. These screens
offer a quick and simple way to spruce up the look of your
fireplace doors. Replacement Fireplace Screen - Fireplaces with
glass doors, zero-clearance, pre-fabs, and just plain masonry
fireplaces have the "curtain-type" screens, and they are
great when they work! We carry the heavy 19 gauge spiral mesh with
deluxe black finish. Rings and black coil pull included. Kit
includes 2 mesh panels each 24" wide in heights listed below. For

How
to Measure
1. Measure the height of
your present screen panel (A) Do not include the
hanging rings. They add 1/2 in to length.
2. Measure the
width of panel (B) Our panels are 24" wide.
If your panel is less than 24", the extra drape add to the
beauty of your fireplace. For panels wider than 24" call us
3. Panel heights are
in full inch increments, Order panel height that is closest to
original panel. Long panels may drag on fireplace hearth. When in
doubt go shorter.. If you need something longer or shorter than
sizes listed above email or call.
Be sure to order correct sizes. We can not exchange screens
for you. If your fireplace opening if larger
than 48" you
might want wider panels. email for more info |
Removal
and replacement:
Take a flashlight and look for screws holding the rods, most often
the rods are attached in middle and slide into hole on sides, or they
may have a clamp to remove. You just slide the old screen off holder rod, take a piece of fine
grit sandpaper to remove any rust on rod , spray with WD-40
or Pam cooking oil spray to prevent
rust and slide new panels in place. Reinstall rod in doors and
Volia!! you are now the hero...
PS: don't forget to spray the rod before and after each season to
prevent rust.
Before the season, If the screens are hard to pull, spray
some WD-40 on rod and quickly open and close each side to break
the rust off rod.
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $10.00 additional cost using
USPS priority mail.
